Identify the common errors that administrators commit in this set up

The common errors that are as a result of settings up the DNS wrongly on a network includes the following:

• The VPN clients may end up being unable to resolve internal network names- What happens is that the VPN clients connect to the Server with the aim of accessing resources on the internal network, and therefore the VPN clients will not be able to access these resources with the use of a DNS host name in the event that the client cannot properly resolve that name to an IP address.
• VPN clients unable to resolve Internet host names – The VPN clients will entirely depend on the Server firewall when they need to be granted access to the Internet in the event that split tunneling is disabled. But if it happens that the VPN clients are granted access to the Internet via the Server firewall, then there may be a problem with the firewall being and therefore it is unable to resolve Internet host names.
