Identity cannot be opened with version of Entourage

Hello experts,

I have installed Office 2008 (12.0.0) using iBook G4, OS 10.5.8.

I am getting this weird error message using this version of Entourage saying “This identity cannot be opened with this version of Entourage”.

I couldn’t find resolution to fix this problem. Provide proper solution to resolve the error.

Identity cannot be opened with version of Entourage

This Identity Cannot Be open with this Version of Entourage". 

This message usually means any Identity saved with a newer version will not open in an earlier version.

Identity cannot be opened with version of Entourage

Hello,

This error is appearing because Entourage is configured with another service provider.

To solve this issue, you have to do some drag ‘n’ drop.

1. Click on “Finder”.

2. Click on Documents >> Microsoft User Data.

3. Now, drag the folder: Office 2004 Identities & Office 2008 Identities into another folder.

Now, your problem should be solved.
