Hi All,

IE8 what are the ways we can speedup the browser? I have a need to use IE only even though i have Chrome and FF. Can you guys help with steps on how to speedup the browser?

Here are five ways to speed up your Internet explorer performance. I will summarize it be low. Turn off the Phishing Filter this would prevent you being tricked in accessing a hidden bona fide website. Routinely checking for RSS feeds and the use of Clear type were also reported to less performance of IE browser, so you have to disable clear type.

There were also reports that SSV Helper Class plug-in also causes momentous browsing delays and appears to be a unnecessary portion of the Java Plug-in. Finally use IE max connection tool to enlarge the number of connections and will also open at the same time to the same website. Hope this will help.

Hello dear Sindhu, hope you are doing well.

Dear the problem with the Internet Explorer that most of the junk is being saved in the browser like; unwanted tool bars, useless plug-ins and other junky stuff. This junk is of no use with the browser but unfortunately that weighted stuff slow down the speed of internet.

For this we have wash out all unwanted stuff and Turn-on the POP-UP BLOCKER. Sometimes we have to uninstall the Internet Explorer completely then install it again. Your problem will be sorted out. For clearing the unwanted stuff from the Internet Explorer you will have to follow few steps, for there steps go with this URL.

 

 

Follow all the given instructions your problem will be solved hopefully.

Hi Sindhu,

 

I think FireFox and Chrome are faster than IE8 but I realize that IE8 only is needed to open certain sites. Here are some advices which I always do to make IE8 faster.

 

1. Always delete the browsing history of which can slow down the computer. Choose Tools, Internet Options, Browsing History and then Delete. You could also choose ‘Delete history on exit’, browsing history on all sites you visited will be deleted when IE8 is closed.

 

2. Minimizes the number of Toolbars, bookmarks, number of buttons on IE8. If Ask toolbar, Yahoo toolbar, and Google toolbar are all used same time, considerable time will be used to start, even for Google toolbar add-in. Only install the toolbar which you need

 

3. Some add-ons are put by Microsoft that most users never use. Remove or disable the unnecessary Search Providers, accelerations and add-ons. Choose Tools Menu and then Manage Add-Ons.  Several extensions, Search Providers and accelerators, email, blog, research, discuss and many others will be found. Delete. Delete. Delete.

 

4. Do not integrate Download Manager with IE8. You shall copy the URL by right-clicked and use this with Download Manager.  IE8 startup time could then be saved and speeded up.

 

5. Synchronizing Temporary Web Pages consumes time too. Choose ‘General Tab’ of Internet Options.  Select Browsing History>Settings and then select the ‘Never’ radio button.

Hello,

Though Internet Explorer 8 is good product of Microsoft after all it have same limitation that is why we need to speed up Internet Explorer 8. It can be done by several ways some are given below in short———

1.      Unneeded Add-ons should be Disable

2.      Automatic Configuration should be turn off

3.      Accelerators should be Remove

4.      No use of  unwanted extensions

5.      Proper configuration of the cache

6.      everything should be Cleaned

7.      keep turn on Pop-up Blocker

I think if you follow the above suggestion you must get better result.
