After i write some code in vb6, then i closed it. i got an error message (Visual basic has stop working) ?
My OS is 64 Bit Windows 7 ultimate. How to solve this problems? May this is because i need administrator privileges? Or Vb6 is not compatible in Windows 7 64 bit ?
Please see attachment for error message screenshot .
Thanks in advance.

Error on closing VB6: Visual Basic has stop working
Visual basic 6 in windows 7 and windows vista operating system, works that way. It didn’t crash suddenly when you are in the middle of programming. But when you finish working and try to close VB6, that error message appears.
I have administrative privileges of my computer, still VB6 make an error message when ever I try to close it. Otherwise VB6 works perfectly, without any other error. If VB6 stop working in the middle of something then we have a problem. If it does, let me know.
Error on closing VB6: Visual Basic has stop working
Don’t consider this an error as it is the nature of Windows 7.
I am using Windows 7 since couple of years and I use Skype every day and whenever I close Skype I get an error saying “Skype has stop working”. However, you can try some basic troubleshooting steps;
1) Clean all your solution.
2) Delete or Rename all files in your solution created by VS.
3) Disable your add-ons and launch VS.
4) Go to Tools – Import/Export Settings and reset all settings.
5) Repair the VS program through add or remove programs.
Hope this helps!
