Whenever I open youtube, it sometimes shows “error not loading, please try again”, as it is given below, even if I have a properly connected and functioning network. I am pretty sure everyone has gone through this situation at least once. Someone help me out, please.

Hi,

• Have you tried disabling Shockwave Flash Player and use the Html5 in the meantime?

• Also, clear the cookies and cache that might accumulate in there.

• You can also try updating google chrome.

• You may also right click on the player and go to Global settings, click storage and delete. Another method for this is you can open another window by copying the link of the video.

• Reload the page again if this problem is showing up. To reload a page, you need to do the following:

Press Ctrl + Shift + R(Windows,Linux)
Press Command + Shift + R(Mac)

Hope this helps.

That error is very common when you’re on YouTube and a video failed to load. If this happens, just press F5 on your keyboard to refresh the page and reload the video or CTRL + F5 to force refresh. This normally fixes the problem. If you still receive the error, check if you have Adobe Flash Player installed on your computer.

YouTube videos require the Flash Player plug-in to be installed according to the browser you are using. The Flash Player plug-in has three versions for three different types of web browsers: the ActiveX, the NPAPI, and the PPAPI. The Adobe Flash Player ActiveX is the plug-in designed for the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser. The Adobe Flash Player NPAPI is the plug-in designed for the Mozilla Firefox web browser.

The Adobe Flash Player PPAPI is the plug-in designed for Chromium-based web browsers such as Google Chrome, Maxthon, and the Opera browser. To check if you have Flash Player on your computer, head down to Flash Player Installation Problems then click “Check Now” to verify the version of the Flash Player plug-in installed. If you have an outdated Flash Player, you should see something like this:

To fix the problem, just update Adobe Flash Player. You can download the latest offline installer at the bottom of the page.
