That error is not just an error that pops up on your screen without doing anything. The error is related to the game “Spore” and was triggered by Microsoft Visual C++. If you try to play the game when it triggered the error, check that your computer meets the requirements. “Spore” supports Windows XP and Windows Vista.
It requires 2 GHz or faster Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor, 512 MB RAM for Windows XP and 768 MB RAM for Windows Vista, video card with Pixel Shader 2.0 support and 128 MB video RAM, and 4 GB free space. If you verify that you have a supported platform, try to uninstall and reinstall the game. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it.
Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your Spore game among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then install the game back.
See if this works. For more information on the supported video card, go to Spore Specs.
