IMac which does not synchronize bookmarks

I have an iMac which does not synchronize bookmarks. However, the same bookmarks can be synchronized by my iPad and iPhone. This is despite the fact that I have enabled the bookmarks on my Mac. iCloud is also enabled on the same Mac.

I really need your help.

IMac which does not synchronize bookmarks

Hi Nicole,

Please keep in your mind that the safari bookmark is stored in library /safari folder. It means that you can easily be copied all the bookmark files from computer to computer or machine to machine should I say.

Perform the following to be able to fix your problem:

• In our imac, quit safari if it is open
• Move bookmarl.plist in to desktop or other location which you want
• Launch safari
• Select import
• On the file menu, choose the file that you had previously saved
• Move bookmarks.plist again
• Don;t reimport the bookmark this time
• You can now successfully sync imac to bookmark
