How better would this be to cost so much.

It doesn't cost $250,000. It costs $2,000,000 including installation cost (which is a necessary cost).

 

It comes with a 20 feet wide screen, It is 3D capable and projects onto a curved wide screen that stands from floor to ceiling. Speakers around the room are placed by a multi-channel sound system. Microphones are set up to monitor tweaks and disruptions in the sound to optimize sound quality. Imax technicians are available 24/7 to ensure customer viewing satisfaction.

IMAX Home Theater is it $250,000

Everyone’s experienced it, few will own it. You will forget that you are watching a movie that you are with someone in the room. For that moment all you can see, hear and feel is that you are in the story, like you are there standing looking at the people, listening to what they are saying to the surroundings. Every detail of the place is shown. Almost likely that you can feel that you can touch the characters. And the price will adjust on where you are located.
