Important files backup in the Gmail account
Hi,
Can anyone tell me whether there is any option to backup all the important files in the Gmail account? If so how much memory does it store?
Thanks.

You can back-up your emails using a desktop client and then back-up your mails using POP (Gmail offers a feature that allows you to download all your messages to a POP client). It stores and downloads copies of emails to your hard-disk so you can access your email even if its offline or in case Gmail is down. To do this:
Log in to your Gmail account. Look for the gear icon in the upper right corner. Click on the drop-down menu and then click on Settings. This will take you to your Settings Page.
Under the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab, select the Enable POP for all mail option. Choosing this option will direct your emails to be downloaded to your POP/desktop client (MS Outlook, Apple, and Mozilla Thunderbird).
Don’t forget also to set your Gmail to keep a copy of all your emails so that they will also be in your Gmail inbox. (Step 2 – When messages are accessed with POP)
Configure your desktop client.
Or you can use a third party back-up service like Backupify, that has a free 2 GB storage limit.
