Apple and Samsung's near duopoly in high-end smartphones was not expected to come under threat this year or next. "Samsung is now the only company that can compete with Apple and challenge it in the smartphone segment. Using this Google’s Android software what it’s unlike with Apple software?

Impressive Samsung Galaxy S III and iPhone 4s

Android is a software stack for mobile devices that includes an operating system, middleware and key applications. The  Android SDK provides the tools and APIs necessary to begin developing applications on the Android platform using the Java programming language while Apple is an American multinational corporation that designs and sells computer software, consumer electronics and personal computers.

There are differences between Apple iOS and Android which is necessary to know when we are going to purchase a mobile phone. Apple is a closed source and has disclaimer to use this operating system on any other mobile phone companies while Android is open source purchased by Google. Apple has an individual operating system reserved only for Apple products while Android is derived from Linux and is further divided into different versions. Android is leading in this feature as it facilitates all community platforms while Apple has a limited social network and does not promote globalism yet the part of this globe.
