Error code 8024200d is also known as WU_EUH_NEEDANOTHERDOWNLOAD which means the update manager has not installed the update because it must be downloaded again. The simplest solution to resolve the error would be to download the update installation package from the Microsoft Update Catalog and install it manually. Some other solutions to fix the error are:
Solution 1: Safe mode Booting
Step 1: Hold Windows key+ R, then type ‘msconfig’ and press the OK button.
Step 2: Click on the Boot tab and select Safe boot. Ensure that the settings have been changed by clicking on the “Apply” and “OK” buttons.
Step 3: Restart the system and press F8 while the computer starts.
