Increase resolution: convert low resolution image to high resolution

Hi.

The steps to convert low resolution image to high resolution comprise of two simple sub-steps.

• Revisionism of resolution

1) First, open the Adobe Photoshop software. Then, browse to open the image that needs to be edited.

2) Inspect the size of the document. Its width, height and length can be adjusted. The resample image box needs to be unchecked. After applying all the settings, click on OK

3) Now view the image. Its appearance will not change at all because you turned off the check box of resample image and so the File changes from a low-resolution image to a small version of a high-resolution image.

• Boost the resolution

1) First, open the Adobe Photoshop software. Then, browse to open the image that needs to be edited.

2) Now turn on the check box next to the option resample image. Then, set the resolution to 300 pixels per inch. Now, here the dimensions of the image will change while those of the document will remain the same contrary to the previous sub-step. Click on OK when you are sure to apply the settings.

3) Now, you will be able to notice an increased size of the window of the image. Also, with the size of the window increased, Photoshop will have also introduced pixels thereby converting the image to a high resolution image.

Hope we helped.
