Hi experts,

When I am starting the index tuning advisor, I am getting the following error message:

Index tuning advisor shows error message

This is another Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error. Try restarting the application to see if it is only an accidental error in the process. If the error occurs again, you may want to try uninstalling the application you are using and then install it back.

This will fix any corrupted files in the installation and will also restore the settings back to default.

After reinstalling the program, try running it again. You may also try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application when checking the system.

It is possible that the error in the file system is creating a conflict with the process and that’s the reason why you are getting the runtime errors.

For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like Norton SystemWorks or Norton Utilities.
