InfoPath Web Forms with Cascading Lists

Hi,

I am a frequent user of SharePoint 2013. I also use InfoPath to build forms. Now I wanted to build web forms with Cascading dropdown. To do this I needed to filter data and this is where I got the error message below.

Can someone help me?

Error – Filtering is not supported in browser-enabled form templates.

InfoPath Web Forms with Cascading Lists

Hello Wilkins,

There are 2 types of forms in InfoPath, one is web enabled and the other is web disabled. You will be able to achieve what you are trying to do in a browser disabled form. You need to first disable it in the form settings. This means that the user will be able to fill the form from within InfoPath, as opposed to filling the form via a browser.
