Microsoft Silverlight is an app framework used to write and run rich Internet apps like Adobe Flash. A plugin is available for few browsers. It supports graphics, multimedia, and animation along with the streaming of media. But, the app has become obsolete nowadays. Google, Firefox, Edge, etc. have stopped the plugins for Microsoft Silverlight. Even Microsoft is going to end its production by 2021.
