Ingres import assistant error with utf 8 vector wise

Hi there,

Notes about the BOM in UTF8 Files and Importing Data Into VectorWise on Windows gives me this error. I have no idea about this error or how can I solve this error. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ? What is wrong with my PC ?

Ingres import assistant error with utf 8 vector wise

It depends on the windows that you are using but you can try following steps :

You can import different processor architecture.

Try to use transfer the files in FTP or use a converter such as unix2dos before copying or importing file.

Try to copy directly in solaris machine via Ingres/Net And you can copy in directly from the solaris machine via Ingres/Net.
