I didn’t use my Canon Ink Efficient E400 for a week. Then after a week I photocopied some of my lectures in a printer. Only after I photocopied 2 pages, my black ink spilled out on my paper and my paper tray. Can it be easily troubleshot this ink problem using the Maintenance dialog box?
Ink Spill in My Canon Ink Efficient E400
Hello Katherine!
The maintenance dialog box is just to calibrate the printer settings. Problem with ink spill in the printer is in the printer itself or the cartridge itself.
In cleaning your printer with ink spills, you need to buy also some cleaning agents to clean the head. Sheets that you can feed to your printer to bring out the spilled ink covered in the inner part of printer.
Replacement of ink cartridges is the best option. Check also the latch and the printer compartment if there’s any part that can cause cartridge to be tampered and damaged while we insert it.
