Installation aborted error – need help!

I have tried to install doubleTwist every way possible though I got failed every time and encountered with the following error message. 

Installation aborted.

Set up was not completed successfully.

Execute: C:UsersownerAppDatalocalTempApplication.exe

Execute: C:UsersownerAppDatalocalTempDatabase.exe

Downloading Bonjour

Cancel

Though I have also tried rebooting my system again and again, but it didn’t work as well. I have Windows 7 installed in my system. Poles apart, my Android phone has also got DT.

Installation aborted error – need help!

Hello Halin,

This look like a .NET Framework problem to me. First i want you to download .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and then install it.

When you done install the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1and it runs successfully, then run the Full Installer again: 

 

• http://download.cnet.com/windows/doubletwist/3260-20_4-6307428-1.html

Then try installing doubleTwist again. This should fix your problem. Let me know how it works.
