Installation Error says Invalid Installation

Hi there,

Every time when I want to launch any Hydraflow applications in Civil 3D 2010 I have this error and when I click OK the PC is freezing. I don’t know what should I do to fix this error and can anyone help me ? Is there an expert online ?

Installation Error says Invalid Installation

Check again if you are running the program on a compatible operating system. Since you are using Windows XP, make sure it is running on the correct Service Pack required by AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010. For Windows XP, AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 requires Service Pack 2 or higher. Since Service Pack 3 is the highest and last update for Windows XP, it would be best to update your Windows XP to Service Pack 3.

Generally, AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 supports Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher, Windows Vista [Ultimate, Business, or Enterprise], and Windows 7 both x86 and x64. And also, your computer needs to have at least 4 GB of RAM. If your computer’s RAM is lower, maybe that’s the reason why your computer hangs after opening Hydraflow applications.

Adding more RAM would be better. If the problem continues, try reinstalling AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010. If the entire Hydraflow applications come preinstalled with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010, then reinstalling it will probably solve the issue. See if this fixes the problem.
