Installation of the following components has failed: Adobe Premiere Pro CS4

One of my PCs is running on Windows Server 2008 x64 SP1.

I failed to install any Adobe CS4 software on it. Why?

Do you know?

Please help.

I tried to install the trial pack and got the following error message.

 

Installation of the following components has failed:

Adobe Premiere Pro CS4

Adobe Encore CS4

 

To continue installing the remaining options, click Continue.

To cancel the installation, click Quit.

 

 I failed to fix it. I am the administrator of my pc, I tried by disabling Windows Defender, Antivirus, adobe also by removing all of adobe software as well as by switching off the User account control.

 

Any idea, please?

Hello Jane Jimenez,

I’ve read your post. I think you’re walking on the wrong way.

Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 doesn’t support Windows Server 2008 x64 SP1.

So you’ve to change your OS to Windows Server 2008 x64 SP2 according to the system requirements I’ve attached.

You can also visit here for more information.

You can also upgrade your systems to Windows Server 2008 x64 SP2 from here.

After upgrading your system try to install Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 & Adobe Encore CS4.

Hope this will help.

Or  you can try to install Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 or Latest Version.
