Hi. I had an error when trying to install Maemo tool such as osso screenshot tool for my Nokia tablet.

When I used the Installer Ready Package, I got the same exact error as shown below.

When I extracted the .deb for osso screenshot tool, it works correctly. What can I do with the error?

Please send me some resolution.

Installation of Maemo Osso Screenshot Tool Failed

There are few things that you need to make sure before doing something else.

download the maemo tool again from a secure and trusted source.

Reset your Nokia tablet to factory defaults.

Once done install the maemo tool again to see if it still giving the error. If it fails again then it is time to debug it.

Run the dbus – monitor to look for any error messages that comes up when you open the dbus – monitor.

Also keep in mind that there is no need to try setting the client for full screen resolution because it is not meant to function properly.
