Installation of Rational AppScan Developer Edition gives error before complete.

Hi!

I was trying to install IBM Rational App Scan [Edition for Developers], during the process of installation I face an error from Installation Manager Tool , I am attaching the error message screen shot with my question, please examine and tell me the solution.

Error Title: Installation failed.

Installation Manager fetched 537 files (263.21MB) during this installation attempt. You can keep these files to avoid fetching them again. Installation Manager will delete these files during a successful installation of this or any other package.

It is requested to all of you, tell me the right solution ASAP, please.

Installation of Rational AppScan Developer Edition gives error before complete.

Hi there Sidney J Skiba,

Your installation fails due to denied access to your system. This is very well known issue with the third party utility called McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention System. The McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention System doesn't allow the execution of the files with multiple dots, so the installer is being flagged as malicious and can't finish the installation.

The only solution of this problem would be temporarily disabling the McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention System so the installation can be performed.
