Hi there,
I ran a clean install of SharePoint Enterprise on my Windows XP SP1 and I think I’ve missed some important steps that caused this failure. Does anyone have a solution for this failure ? What did I miss and how can I repair it ?
Thank you !

SharePoint version requirement for PowerPivot for SharePoint-Failed
Installation Rules Setup is running rules to determine if the installation process
The "SharePoint version requirement for PowerPivot for SharePoint-Failed" error you're experiencing appears when the Service Pack 1 for SQL Server 2012 isn't installed. The aforementioned Service Pack is a requirement for PowerPivot for SharePoint and if you can't install it, you will have to copy certain registry values found on machines running SharePoint 2010 onto your computer. To install these registry entries, do the following steps:
1. Download the file with registry entries from the link here
2. Double click to open it and you will get a file with four packages inside
3. Right click each of them and select "Package object" and then click "Activate contents"
Do this with all 4 packages in turn and you will now be able to install SQL Server 2012 without any problems. Please note that this procedure results in an unsupported installation.
