Installation of Tivoli Storage Manager

Hello,

I need help with an installation process I can’t seem to complete. I’m trying to install the Tivoli Storage Manager Device Driver but I keep encountering the same error message every time:

Device driver Installation Wizard

Cannot Complete the Device Driver Installation Wizard. Errors were encountered while installing the software for your devices. See the Status column for more details.

Sometimes it helps to run this wizard again. If that doesn’t work, contact your device vendor.

Back                finish           Cancel

I should mention I’m using Windows 2003 so if someone’s had the same problem at some point please provide some info on how to resolve this.

Installing TSM manager

Open command prompt ; type Java-full version; Enter Close cmd; go to where the image is located; run the set up tsm server 5.5 setup ; you will be prompted for two things; coarse language then chose where to save files ; chose C ; then the extracting wizard runs after it finishes an interface with the following links :

Install products

Server licenses

Language pack

Visit website

Click the, visit our website link. You will be prompted to install MSXML 6.0 sp1 ; then agree. Chose your prefaced language, then enter your information as administrator again ; then chose the complete installation option. You will be then ok, the installation wizard continues ;

Then finish restart the machine;
