Installed Video Now Computer Wont Run

I have installed a new video card and then went to boot up my system. When it comes up I get this error – windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.  It will not go past the blue error screen and then reboots. So I tried to put my old card back and it did not fix it.

Hi Joseph K Carpenter

Am sorry to tell you the bad news there is no problem with your VD card but you might have compromised your system. Now when blue screen will appear your OS or operating system might be damaged you have to re-install your new OS. If you have a restore point you can restore it to the previous when your OS is not yet corrupted.

There are many reasons why your start-up well boot to bios and blue screen will come out. But one major reason is this you’re OS is corrupted by malware.

Try starting your computer using the last known good configuration option. Start or restart your computer then press F8 before the Windows logo appears. In “Advanced Boot Options” screen, scroll down and select “Last known good configuration” then hit Enter to start booting. If this doesn’t work, start the computer in Safe Mode then use the System File Checker utility.

Repeat the same steps to access “Advanced Boot Options”. In “Advanced Boot Options” screen, scroll down and select “Safe Mode” then hit Enter. Log in with your admin account. Once you are logged in, press the Windows key + R to bring up the “Run” dialog then type without quotes “sfc /scannow” then hit Enter. Insert your Windows setup CD or DVD when you are prompted then continue.

Wait until the process is complete then restart the computer.
