The installer does not support 64 Bit Windows or Vista

Hi!

I recently downloaded the premier element [10 trials] of ADOBE. When I tried to install it on Win XP 64 Bit or even Vista 64 Bit I faced an error message:

Adobe Premiere Element 10 Setup

The installer does not support 64 Bit Windows or Vista. If you are installing from discs please remove this disk and insert disk #1. If you are not installing from disks please download the 32-bit version of Premiere Elements 10

 

I am requesting to all of you, to please share the remedy in connection with your experiences and knowledge.

Hi Donald,

Eventually, the installer does not support the version of your OS. Adobe Download Assistant automatically installs the 64-bit version of Adobe Premier Elements – 10. The 64-bit version installer only works for the Windows 7 OS. If you are using XP or Vista 64-bit, you will have to use the 32-bit version of Adobe Premier Elements-10.

The installer does not support 64 Bit Windows or Vista

I suggest you follow the instructions on the screenshot, as it indicates that you only have a 32bit operating system available on your machine. If you do not have an installation disk for this, try buying a copy either from a store, or on the official Adobe website. Or if you have a 64bit version of your OS and don't want to buy a 32bit copy of the Adobe product, install first your 64bit OS then the Adobe Premier Elements 10.
