Installing an Epson 660 scanner in Linux mint

I have a printer that i would like to have a Linux support to enable scanning, How can I install the scanner in Linux. I have tried to run the scanner in Linux but it will not even detect. Is there a debian version of the scan driver available for download? Can I get to scan from the network using this scanner in Linux?
