Installing QEMU Manager on Windows 7

Qemu is a virtual machine that can run different PC architectures like PowerPC, Sparc, ARM, and x86. Before, Qemu used to only run on UNIX family of operating system platforms including Linux. But presently, it has a version that can run on Windows operating system. It is just like the popular VMware or VirtualBox. With Qemu, you can save and restore the state of the virtual machine while all programs are running.

Guest operating system doesn’t need to be patched in order to run safely. Qemu supports the emulation of various architectures, including IA-32 [x86] PCs, x86-64 PCs, MIPS R4000, Sun’s SPARC sun4m, Sun’s SPARC sun4u, ARM development boards [Integrator/CP and Versatile/PB], SH4 SHIX board, PowerPC [PReP and Power Macintosh], ETRAX CRIS and MicroBlaze architectures.
