Installing SQL Server 2008 R2 x64

During installation of SQL Server 2008 R2 x64, I get this message: "This program has compatibility issues".

See the image below. What do you think is the problem?

Could you give some resolution to this issue?

Installing SQL Server 2008 R2 x64

When you will try to install Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2, You will face the following message “This program has compatibility issues”. When you see that, click on the “Run the program without getting help”. It will run the program without any online help. I think in that way your problem will solve.

Installing SQL Server 2008 R2 x64

Hello Ney,

That compatibility issue may refer to your machine and the sql server installer itself. Check if your computer system is 64 bit type or a 32 bit type. If your machine is a 32 bit type then you can download the installer below.

Note: Please select the x32 installer.
