InstallShield Error -6002: Unable to run setup.exe files

Hello experts,

Please consider reading my problem and help me solve it.

I’ve a problem with my Install shield. When I run any form of setup.exe file, it is showing this following error:

Setup has experienced an error.

Please do the following

• Close any running programs

• Empty your temporary folder

• Check your Internet connection (Internet-based Setups)

Then try to the Setup again.

Error code: -6002

Only recently I purchased Photoshop CS, and I’m getting this very same error when I click the setup.exe file. I could not complain this to Adobe, as I’ve this problem with all my files that I run in Install shield.

I’ll be much thankful for each and every response from your side. Thanking you again.

InstallShield Error -6002: Unable to run setup.exe files

Hi Halleleilani2,

The issue occurs because of a damaged system files. There are 3 ways to solve that problem. First, you can use system restore to restore your computer to the earlier time when it is running fine. Second, at your taskbar click Start>Run type cmd then type sfc /scannow it will automatically fix system errors in your PC. And third, download third party utility error fixer and use it to repair your system
