Hello,

As far as I know, the common rules and regulation of accessing instant video streaming on XBOX 360 varies on the 'instant video streaming' service provider, take example the Amazon Instant Video, the moment you buy the product  the videos appear instantly on the Xbox 360 app's Watch List thus giving you full access on all videos to be stream on amazon.

The Kinect function also varies depending on what/which service provider you choose/bought/downloaded.

But usually, the moment you purchase or download the app you the Kinect function for your XBOW is automatically activated or automatically detect motion functions.
