The add-ons in Mozilla Firefox can easily be disabled if you no longer wish to use it or it affects the browser every time you use it. Here is a simple guide on how to go around with it.
On your Mozilla Firefox, click the Firefox menu then select Add-ons. Or, you can use the shortcut combination, CTRL + SHIFT + A.
Select the location of the add-on you wish to disable. You can find it in Extensions, Appearance, or in Plugins.
When you find it, select the add-on or the plugin and then click on the Disable button on the right side.

Sometimes, enabling or disabling an add-on may require you to restart the browser. When you are asked to restart it, just click on the Restart option to restart Mozilla Firefox and applying the changes.
