Intermec Smart systems Installation error

Hi,

During the installation of Smart systems, on Windows 2008 server, Windows 7 x64 or on Windows 7 x86. I am always getting the error.

I have installed SQL as per the manual and I don’t think there is problem with SQL installation.

But when an application is trying to register services it throws an error 1923.

See the screenshot attached.

 

Error 1923. Service Internet SmartSystems Client Service (ITC_SmartSystems Client Service) could not be installed. Verify that you have a sufficient privileges to install system services.

I have logged in as an Administrator while installing, I also tried to run the application by run as administrator.

What problem might be?

Intermec Smart systems Installation error

Hello there!

If you already have checked and made sure that you're logged in as an administrator but you are still having the same issue, then try to check your security software settings. Try to set your Firewall to allow and trust the program that you are trying to install. If Firewall settings is not an issue then try to remove or delete all related files and components of the program that might have been installed and re-install the program.
