I don't know why I can't be able to start ichat. Every time I try to open it, an error will appear. I searched for some solutions online and already followed what they suggested such as removing the library prefs, reboot my modem and router and repair the disk permissions. However, nothing works so far. The error I've got is listed below:
An Internal iChat error occurred.
IChat couldn't connect to iChat Agent.

Internal iChat Error Occurred when Starting
There have been lots of problems with iChat that is associated to internal error. Before doing anything, verify first if you have updated your Mac OS X. If you have updated your operating system, try reinstalling iChat. If you don’t want to reinstall, try downloading and installing Apple iChat 6.0.1.
You don’t need to download it specifically because it is included in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. The best way to fix the iChat problem is to upgrade your operating system to Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. Installing and upgrading to Mac OS X 10.7 will also install the correct version of iChat.
If you still encounter a problem, try using port 443 instead of port 5190 when logging in to AIM. Open iChat then go to Preferences and then Accounts. Logout your AIM account then select Server Settings tab. Replace port 5190 with 443. You might need to check and uncheck SSL to somehow activate port 443.
Once this is set, log back in and see if the problem is fixed.
