Hello Karen,
Sometimes, internet connection is due to web traffic. You might have noticed the
varying times when your internet connection is fast, and when is it slow.
However, if this has already bothered you, you may try freeing up some disk space from your
drive C. Remove or delete unnecessary files, restart your pc and check if the
connection has improved.

Hi Vince, I did freed up some disk space, and restarted my pc.
At first it is working fine, but later on, it started to slow down again.
Any more solution?

Hi Karen,
The speed of the internet connection depends upon the status and /or the network activities at certain places.
Perhaps you are using a broadband whose network visibility is very poor at your place, or you may have placed your cp
at a certain part of your house where signal is interrupted. Check the signal light from your modem, it should display
a continuous green light.
You might also want to try changing you network settings from GPRS/EGDE Preferred to ONLY GPRS/EDGE and apply the setting, check if it works fast.
Or switch it again to 3G preferred and apply again, until you find which network connection works faster.
Tell me if it works.

Hi Karen,
If you have done all the suggested solutions above, and you are still discontented with the result,
Please try below:
1. Check your firewall settings and check allow cookies. Sometimes, though, although it is of great risk, I suggest
turning off the firewall as long as you have your anti-virus updated from time to time.
2. In the menu bar of the internet explorer, click Tools>Options>privacy
3. Uncheck all the that stores the browsing history as follows :
> Remember my browsing history
> Remember download history
> Remember search and form history
Check this box "Clear history when firefox closes"
These, and all the other solutions that we have given to you should speed up your internet connection.

Click Network setting of your modem and adjust accordingly.

Thank you very much for your assistance.
My internet connection is working real fine now. I thought that I need to buy a new
broadband or reconfigure my PC or have it reformatted but because of your suggestions,
I was able to have my internet connection work faster without having to spend money.
