Internet download manager error on downloading
Hi Aabel Maverick,
Make sure the following things before going ahead.
-
Use a legit version and try using the service again.
-
Do not select any text while clicking on "Download with IDM" button that appears on the web browser downloading window.
-
Try disabling the native firewall of your PC and downloading again through the same downloading page.
-
Disable any antivirus installed on your computer and try downloading the file again.
If the problem still persist,
You must be clicking on a wrong page or not in the right downloading button because sometimes IDM creates multiple downloading buttons on downloading page. For this thing, go to YouTube and try downloading any video and if the same problem persists.
Go to IDM and click on "Downloads" from the menu bar. Click on options. Then move to Proxy/Socks tab and uncheck everything here.
Now you should be able to download with IDM.
Thanks

The error you are receiving indicates that your network is not connected or you did not configure it properly. Try to upgrade the network drivers or ensure that you have an active internet connection. The network cannot be reached, so you need to ensure that IDM service is not down when you are using it. Close IDM, and then try to launch it again after few minutes.
Internet download manager error on downloading
Internet Download Manager is the world’s best download manager that I’ve ever seen; however, it can still have problems–some of which I’ve gotten. Thanks to both experts and everyone else; all of you have given me nice solutions. The solution I like most is Carnaje Fonseka’s answer; it’s great.
