Introduction To Acceptable Use Policy With Its Importance

An Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is a document stipulating practices that a user must agree to get access for a co-operate network or the internet. It’s is mainly used by businesses, and educational institutions for sign-in of employees and in students in the co-operate network. Its importance are as follows:

• I am not using a service as a part of illegal work.
• I am not attempting to break the security of the network.
• I am not posting any commercial comments without the permission of superiors.
• I am not attempting to mail bomb a site with a mass amount of email to flood the server.

User has to agree with these conditions to gain access into the network.
