When I am on Facebook and go to play games, I get a page that says invalid URL, why does this happen?

There are a few reasons why you would be getting the URL message. What are you using for a browser? That is the first thing to start with; some browsers do not do well with some of the games on Facebook.
The first thing you can try is to clear out your cookies. Here is how to do that, in E8 and click on “tools” scroll down until you see internet options, click on that. When that window opens you will see different options, you want to click “empty cookies and Cache” then click apply. After you have done that, restart your browser and try your game again. You can do the same thing with all browsers, just look it the “tools” options
Invalid URL on playing games
Getting the invalid URL error when playing on Facebook games could be due to the user’s connection. Meaning, it is possible that your device such as router, or modem, may need to have the firmware updated.
What you will need to do is to turn off your computer, then turn off your device (if you have a modem connected to a router you must turn off the router first then the modem last, and if your modem is the one with a battery, you must remove the batteries to make sure it’s going to be refreshed). After 10 seconds, you must turn on the modem first, wait for it to connect to the internet, then the router (if you have one), once the devices are connected to the internet, turn your PC back on and wait for it to connect to the internet.
Once it’s connected update your device’s firmware (to do that you must know the manufacturer’s name of your device, and its model number so that you can get its latest firmware from the manufacturer’s website). Once you had the firmware updated, refresh your browser (whether you are using Google Chrome, IE, or Mozilla Firefox). After resetting your browser, close it and re-launch a new window then try the game again. If the issue persists, you may also want to contact the Facebook’s Help Center.
