My iPad Air is only a few months old. However, I cannot really use it on WiFi networks because, when it finds a signal, it will maintain the connection for a couple of minutes at the most. I tried resetting the device, I tried playing with the settings, but the problem remains. Is there a solution?
IPad Air keeps loosing WiFi signal
Hi Jonathan, there are lots of complaints concerning the dropping of signal of the WiFi for the iPad Air. It is more likely a software or firmware issue. Reboot would not solve this seemingly mysterious problem, but somehow by changing the Wifi parameters to a mixed of a, then to b,then g will create a boost with the signal interference. Another alternate solution is renewing your IP Address. You can do this by going to your Settings, then tap the WiFi option, then tap the blue arrow of the Wifi that you’re connecting with and in the new window that opens tap on Renew button.Â
