IPhone 3GS display is not working properly
There is the availability of solutions that is for the iPhone 3Gs of which LCD display screen backlight not working in a right way or and result to a display of dark screen.
It consists of two stages of repairing if ever encountered this problem on iPhone 3Gs especially wet damaged devices than this solution has a big help.
One person who fix this problem many times and with this solution, he can solved the problem. I have been tried installing a new LCD screen module but to some extent the problem still exists.
There are some spots on the iPhone 3Gs located at the LCD pin connector that most often get damaged and result to the display backlight may won't work. So do an other option is to view the image below for clearer image of the solution.

IPhone 3GS display is not working properly
In Microsoft Windows, when a user encounters the blue screen error, they refer to it as the “Blue Screen Of Death” or BSOD. In iOS, when a user encounters the white screen error, they refer to it as the “White Screen Of Death” or WSOD. In Microsoft Windows, the blue screen error is easy to fix and less technical.
The white screen error, on the other hand, is the total opposite. You will be needing all the technical help when you encounter this problem. Anyway, here is the solution to fix the white screen error as instructed by “superbeak” of Whited00r Forum. First, you need to disassemble your device.
Now, when putting it back together and the cables are coming off, you are either pulling too far away with the digitizer and LCD assembly or you didn’t plug them in correctly. When disassembling, take the motherboard out then let it stand for about ten seconds (10 seconds). After this, put it back in and re-assemble.
Make sure that the digitizer is really for a 3GS, in case the digitizer is a replacement. The connectors look very similar and can even plug in with enough coaxing. This can damage the logic board if you try to use the phone like this. Check that the ports are clean and you are plugging them all in correctly.
There is a cable that slides in vertically with the white lever on it. Lift the lever then slide the cable in then press the lever back down. If you don’t slide in the cable properly you will have problems. When connecting the LCD, make sure to do it carefully but firmly.
Put your finger on it while the plug is positioned over the port then slowly apply pressure while moving your finger around until the connector finds the right spot. It will plug in with a satisfying click. Finally, hold the Home and Power buttons simultaneously for ten seconds (10 seconds) and then release. Lastly, press the Power button.
If everything is done accordingly, it should power on without a problem.
