I have an IPhone 4 16 GB, that I am trying to put movies on. Without sacrificing that much space, what is the best file format & size that I can do that with, without sacrificing quality either?
And are you able to recommend, a lovely file converter for any type of file I have such as MKV.

Hey,
Â
If you don’t want to compromise on the video quality, then there is no solution but to save it in a video format, mpeg4. This gives good quality videos but takes lots of space.
Â
The best format to get good quality video, plus less space consumption is .RMVB format. This format will meet your expectations as you want less space occupied and better quality of the video.

Hi,

You can use the MP Movie Player Controller Class, by just creating a class which you can initialize with the video's URL. This can play the video in full screen and directly returns back, to your application when done playing.

Another thing is, you can create a UIWEBView in a small size, only on your screen by loading it with YouTube embed code. It will result, likely to the image below:
It shows the play button on the screen. When you just tap the image, it will automatically open full screen and if video is done, it will return back to the normal small size.
