IPhone backup error has encountered

Hello,

I have iPhone 4S and I was trying to backup my contacts just as a practice I do regularly. However, I ran into an error as shown below. Any ideas?

An error occurred while backing up this iPhone (-48).

Would you like to continue to update this phone?

Continuing will result in the loss of all contents on this iPhone.

IPhone backup error has encountered

Hi,

What version of iTunes do you have? Try upgrading iTunes to 7.5 or later, this could fix the problem. If the problem persists, there are a couple of solutions you can try but it depends on your operational system.
