IPhone gets locked by itself

Sometimes my iPhone 4s suddenly switches off to search mode and starts showing the wrong time and date. It basically gets hanged up or locked, and then after a while I have to reset the time and start using it again. Why does this happen? How can I solve this issue?

IPhone gets locked by itself

First and foremost, ensure that your iPhone's iOS is up to date.

 

1) Go to Settings > General > Date & Time > turn off Set Automatically.

2) Then go to Time Zone. Make sure that your time zone is set up correctly.

 

If it still changes, you might consider contacting your cellular provider.
