I have a 7th generation iPod Nano and I'm having issues between it and my laptop. I just purchased the Nano so I'm not sure if I may need to update my laptop or not. I have Windows 7 so I wouldn't think that would be the issue. Thanks for any assistance.

Hello Indira!

If your IPod Nano is having issues with connection to your laptop try to do the following procedures.

1.  Hold down the “Menu” and the center button for about 15-20 seconds and that will restart your Nano. Wait for the restart cycle to complete and check if your Nano will connect to your laptop.

We can try some other options and altering the settings in your Nano.

1.  Connect your Nano and set it in “Disk Mode.” Hold the “Menu” button an let it restart.

2.  Go to “Control Panel.” Open “System” and select “Hardware” tab. Select “Device Manager.” Locate USB Driver and uninstall. Reinstall the device and make it sure you updated the driver and software for USB and Nano.
