IPod shuffle not charging with laptop / charger both.

Hello. I am trying to charge an iPod shuffle but it is not charging. I plugged the charger into the switch and it did not charge. I thought maybe the charger was dead. After that I connected it with my laptop to charge but still up to no good. It also doesn't show up in iTunes as the battery is dead. How can I fix this? Is it a problem with my iPod or the charging cable / wire?

Hello Michael P Tighe,   Are you using original cable wire which comes with the device or any different cable? If you are using any different cable, Then it may cause problem. But if you are using original cable then there will be defiantly a problem with your  IPod. I think you need to go customer care and check it out. Defiantly if problem persist, There is something wrong going on in your IPod charging jack. You may need to replace it.

IPod shuffle not charging with laptop / charger both.

It is the cable problem, just change the cable and your problem will be solved. And do not use the regular charging cable it will destroy the battery of your iPod. You need to purchase the original cable from the Apple Store. And also purchase the adapter of your charger from there.
