A) This 0x80072eff windows XP update error occurs when the server faces issues or is busy. To fix 0x80072eff windows XP update error, download and install the latest version of the Windows XP update manually.

B) To fix the 0x80072eff windows XP update error, you need to follow these steps: –

1. Go to Control Panel> Automatic update> settings.
2. Untick the Turn Off Automatic Update option there and then select the Download Update for me option, but let me choose when to install them.
3.Go to Internet Explorer (IE) settings option> then tools option> then Internet Options> then go to the Advanced option and then tick the Use of TLS 1.0 if it is not already not ticked.
3.Go to IE settings tools option> then the Internet Options>then Security option>then Trusted Sites option. Press on Sites then add *.microsoft.com and *.windowsupdate.com
4.Now press on the Windows Update option, and then it will take you to the Welcome page of Microsoft Update with Express and Custom tabs.
