The 0x800f0a12 error pops up while installing Windows 7 SP 1. I am unable to solve this error. Please help me.

Is There Any Method To Solve The 0x800f0a12 Error?

The 0x800f0a12 error can be solved by mounting Windows 7 in the active partition. Follow the steps below –

Method 1

a. Open Control Panel.

b. Open System & Security.
c. Open Administrative Tools.
d. Open Computer Management.

e. Click on Disk Management.
f. In one partition, Windows 7 is installed. Righ-click on it.

g. Make Partition as Active.
h. Now, you can install SP1.

Method 2 –

a. Open Command Prompt as Admin.

b. Type mountvol/E, and press enter.
c. Restart your device.
d. Now, you can install SP1.
