What is WDFME? How to uninstall this file? Is WDFME CPU intensive, which means does it consume a lot of CPU heat?

Is WDFME CPU Intensive?

WDFME is an executable file; it is known as the WD file management engine. This home file is not essential for windows; it is usually located in a western digital folder, as this EXE file belongs to WD smart ware by western digital technologies.

If you install a defective or obsolete version of the EXE file your computer may slow down, and various messages might arrive such as the WD file management engine has stopped working, or the WD file management engine has encountered a problem.

If you don’t need this file, you can uninstall it by going in the control panel. Click on add/remove programs, and select WDFME.exe and click on uninstall.

Yes, WDFME.exe is a very high CPU intensive program. It contains high CPU usage all the time. Overheating of the system because of this may also cause various other problems which can be harmful.
