Hi. I want to upgrade my Fix-it 10 to Fix-it 11. When I tried to install version 11, I was opt to uninstall the previous version before continuing. But since my Fix-it 10 is already corrupted and the same reason why I want to upgrade it to version 11, I cannot continue with the installation. It keeps demanding for the correct file. Is there a way to force the file and install version 11 without needing the previous version? Is there something that I can edit with the registry to do this? Please send me some help.
Issue upgrading Fix-it 10 to Fix-it 11
Hi Sarah,
You can try to remove it by going to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Program > Look for Fix it 10 > Remove.
If you are unable to remove it from there, you can try to go to your registry and delete the folder there. Go to Start > Run > Type regedit > Look for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Look for the folder of Fix it 10 > Delete it.
You can also try to delete it by deleting the fix it folder on the Application folder on your C drive. This can also delete the application on your computer.
Please do try to restart your computer after the changes.
