Issues after installing Mathcad Prime 1.0 along with a Mathcad 15

Hello friends,

Yesterday, I bought Mathcad Prime 1.0 along with a copy of Mathcad 15. I installed both of them successfully, but unfortunately, mathcad 15 ended up in a problem. It won't work.  I had previously been using mathcad 14, which also didn’t work on my system but my problem was solved after reinstalling it. I did the same with mathcad 15 and to my surprise it worked.

But, still there is one problem. the help file for mathcad 15 won't work. I have tried a lot to make it run, but every time I get the following error:

The path to the specified file, C:Program Files (x86)MathcadMathcad 15dochelp_enhelpmcad.htm, is incorrect. Run the installation of the corresponding components to correct this problem.

Another problem I am facing is with mathcad prime. When I try to convert the files, mathcad prime would not. It just gives me the message:

could not start Mathcad conversion process

I have it under warranty for 1 year regarding any kind of technical support. If anyone can guide me please how to pursue it over even have an online chat with the support center.

Waiting for your response.

Thanking you.

Kindest regards.

Hi Daniel,

You could have probably performed a custom install. As a result, the Help system of MathCAD was not installed as there is an existing system for MathCAD 1.0.  You can try reinstalling it as an Administrator. That is u need to "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR" Also,   MathCAD 14 and 15 cannot be simultaneously installed because MathCAD 15 erases the file system of its previous versions.  Regarding the converter. It is natural to malfunction since you have not installed completely the MathCAD 15.
